Three Castles launch new website and announce 2027 Dates.
Clubmans Championship sponsor Three Castles announce a new website.
The 23rd running of ‘the Three Castles’ takes place in North Wales next June 8th – 11th. Entries open on October 1st, and we thought you would like to hear about no less than FOUR new features of our programme PLUS a big change to take the Three Castles Trial itself back to its roots as a rally any car from 1923-1990 can win. Yes, Class Index is back!
First, we have a new media partner. After many happy years with Magneto, we welcome Octane, from the same publishing stable, into the fold. This magazine needs no introduction. They are already writing about us – there is a page on our news in the November issue, on sale today (image attached). We are excited to partner with them.
Second, we have a brand new, bang up to date website. It has just gone live www.three-castles.co.uk has never looked so sharp. With live links to our social media feeds, the mtc1 entry system and a live feed for entries, there is plenty there already and we will populate it further in the coming weeks, of course.
Third, we announce a splendid new friendship with the Vintage Sports Car Club, who by sheer coincidence hosted the first race meeting I ever saw at Silverstone sixty years ago… we are running a brand new three-day event for them alongside the 2027 Three Castles Trial, called the Pomeroy Challenge. Sharing much of the route and the same halts yet carefully shaped to suit older cars, it will run just after the Three Castles each day. It is exclusively for VSCC members in eligible prewar cars. This remains a 100% Three Castles event and we will be at Prescott this coming weekend to launch it to VSCC members.
Fourth, we announce another new event, the one-day Mostyn Trophy. This is a one day rally to introduce the Three Castles way of rallying to new folk who have not previously entered, only. Running on June 8th and sharing part of its afternoon route with the Prologue, it will offer 25-50 crews a taste of Three Castles that should tempt them to come back for the full rally next time. Regs for this are on the new Three Castles website.
