THE HRCR CLUBMAN’S ROAD RALLY CHAMPIONSHIP 2026

Equally challenging and enjoyable for both driver and navigator, the 2026 HRCR Clubman’s Road Rally Championship is a great way to enjoy using your historic vehicle.
The HRCR coordinates an annual series of historic road rallies which offer real tests for driver-navigator partnerships, each rally having a combination of regularity sections on quiet and scenic back-roads combined with special tests at private venues.
The events mostly run in daylight hours, although a couple run into the hours of darkness, to add a touch of variety to the series. Usually 130 to 150 miles in length they are single day events at a fraction of the cost of the big-name classic rallies.
With entry fees usually around £220 per event, including lunch and a meal at the finish for the crew.
Competing cars are split into 5 age dependent categories up to 1968, ’74, ’81 ’85 and 90, with bonus points being awarded to the classes’ and crews graded on their ability into Masters, Experts and Novices and Beginners.
Each event is run to Motorsport UK regulations for which Interclub Competition Licenses are easily obtained.
Routes use the excellent 1:50000 OS Landranger maps and finding the correct route is seldom too difficult for novice navigators, as organizers want everyone to get to the finish having enjoyed the day.
