Steve Powell was the recipient of the Exol Oil Award on the Hills Ford Stages, he epitomises the club competitor with his home prepared Hillman Avenger and brings something a little different to the entry list of our asphalt rounds. The rally wasn’t kind to Steve, the engine fan cut the bottom hose and he lost all coolant resulting in a cooked engine. The Exol oil will undoubtedly come in handy after the winter rebuild!
