After a wet and eventful Agbo Stages at Weston Park, the Mini Cup and Cat 1 Cup Championships head off to the military training area over the coming May Day weekend.
This co-promoted round brings together the organising skills of Forresters and Forest of Dean clubs so we know we’ll be in for another well-run rally.
The event is the first of two over the infamous ranges with the Dixies Challenge keeping themselves to the western edge so being quick off the mark on the shorter and quickfire stages will be the name of the game.

Plenty to Smile About in the Dyas/Morris Volvo
At the time of writing, we’ve eight crews with confirmed entries covering both Cat 1 and Mini Cups with three crews sitting on the reserve list but with several weeks to go before the event we could see them all getting a run.
Our sister championship, the Stage Masters will also be out in force being their third round but first on tarmac so HRCR will certainly be showing the way to go as The Club That Goes Historic Rallying.
Such is the prominence of all three championships and the club in general yet another sponsor has added their support to all three stage rally championships.
