The Historic Rally Car Register (HRCR) and Kelsey Media are pleased to announce a new partnership that will see the two organisations working together to promote all forms of Historic Rallying in the UK.
The HRCR with over 1500 members organises a wide range of events and championships to cater for classic car enthusiasts from non-competitive Scenic Tours through to Historic Special Stage Rallying.
Kelsey Media specialises in publications and events for motoring enthusiasts, with a significant portfolio covering numerous marques and markets.
Classic car publications such as Classic Car Buyer, Classic Jaguar, Rolls-Royce & Bentley Driver, MiniWorld and MG Enthusiast are joined by modern performance brands such as Fast Car, Fast Ford, Performance VW and Performance BMW.
Kelsey Media also stages a number of events throughout the UK including Japfest, FordFair and Trax at Silverstone, the Classic Ford Show and Mini in the Park at Santa Pod and The Fast Car Festival at Donington.
Through this new partnership both organisations recognise the potential to raise the profile of Historic Rallying within the classic car community. It is envisaged that the two organisations will share stands at events and there will be a regular feature page in Classic Car Buyer dedicated to Historic Rallying.
Paul Loveridge, Chairman of the HRCR said: “We are hoping that this new partnership with Kelsey Media will attract more classic car owners into all levels of historic rallying and also to raise the profile of the sport within the classic car community.”
Phil Weeden, Managing Director of Kelsey Media said: “We feel collaborating with key parts of the classic car scene is really important.
“We love the work done by the HRCR and look forward to supporting those endeavours in the months and years ahead.”
