The HRCR Open day has become the now traditional opening event of the year for HRCR members and the historic rallying community bringing together all forms of the sport including Historic Road and Stage Rallies, Historic Endurance rallies and Speed events for Historic vehicles. This is ‘the’ event to attend for our members and many in the historic rally community where you meet friends old and new, talk to organisers of the events that take place all over the country making up 6 HRCR championships and see an array of historic rally cars from the 50’s through to the 80’s. You will also be able to talk with HRCR Championship organisers and register for the championships on the day.
Bring along your friends and get the word out into your motor clubs, have a great time and join the HRCR. Any fully paid up member who recommends a friend on the day to join the HRCR who has not previously been an HRCR member will receive one of the popular HRCR navigation bags. This promotion will also be offered to anyone who joins on the day.
This year we have a special feature on the Motoring News Rally Championship as it will be 30 years since the last championship year. We will have a display of cars that competed in the championship and in the early evening there will be a ticket only forum with Howard Davies as your compere for the evening. Further details about the forum and how you can obtain tickets will be released shortly.
