Round 7 The Keldine Autos Cheviot Rally – Preview
The final round of the Mintex old STAGER Championship and Mini Sport Mini Cup will take place this weekend over the Otterburn Military Ranges in Northumberland. 15 Minis will start the event which sees competitors tackle 14 stages over 60 miles of competition.
Leading the old STAGER competitors away will be Ray Cunningham/Jared Gill who are currently 5 points ahead of Clive King/Anton Bird. Cunningham scored 2 victories on the recent Rally Isle of Man to move into the lead of the championship and Mini Cup. He will be chased hard by King and Colin McDowell. With 1.5 times points available, in with an outside chance of taking the old STAGER title, are Jim Brindle and Andrew O’Hanlon.
The action starts Sunday morning so we’ll hope to bring you reports during the day with all the action and news of who is the 2017 old STAGER Champion and winner of the 2017 Mini Sport Mini Cup.
