HRCR Classic 35 news letter 2

AUGUST 2018: Newsletter 2

Thank you for your expression of interest in CLASSIC 35.

The ‘news’ of CLASSIC 35, our Clubman’s Road Rally celebrating 35 years of the HRCR, has generated further interest from HRCR members, who have now ‘signed-up’ to the event updates. If everybody who has now expressed an interest enters, we will be certainly full before the 2019 Open Day.

If you have any HRCR friends who have not yet expressed at interest and think they would like to join you on the event, please get them to email the organising team Classic35@hrcr.co.uk

Event Objective

To remind you our objective is to provide the crews with a good value two-day sociable event with an all-inclusive entry fee, including all meals and great motorsport, in the company of likeminded rally enthusiasts. As it will be a Clubman’s status no MSA licence event will be required. Entries are restricted to HRCR members only.

Format

Scrutineering will be on Friday 14 June before the welcome supper in the evening. The rally route is expected to cover approximately 250 miles over Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 June 2019, mostly from a road book, with scenic regularities and exciting special tests on smooth private land.

Rally HQ – Tillington Hall Hotel (Stafford just off junction 14, M6).

Our President, Paddy Hopkirk, will give a brief ‘after dinner’ speech on Saturday night at the Rally HQ.
