DESCRIPTION:Cotswold Historic Tavern MC \nOffering the simpler Clubman’s navigation option\, incorporated in the Beginners Championship. \n\nThis year’s event will follow the successful format of the past four years\, starting in Cirencester. There will be 8 Special Tests on a variety of surfaces\, at two venues including South Cerney Airfield. The tests will be linked by around 90 miles of Regularity. \n\n\nThe first car will depart at 8:15am\, with stops for coffee and lunch\, before returning to the finish around 4.30pm for an evening meal. \nThe Clubman Event will run alongside the HRCR Event to allow less experienced competitors to compete over the same route. A complete roadbook will be provided. This will be part of the HRCR Beginners Championship\, but is open to everyone.

SUMMARY:East Anglian Classic
DESCRIPTION:Chelmsford Motor Club \nOffering the simpler Clubman’s navigation option\, incorporated in the Beginners Championship. \nThe event will be starting and finishing in Bury St. Edmunds with easy access from the A14 trunk road. We will be visiting some test venues not used before on the East Anglian Classic. We will also be visiting some different parts of Suffolk and Cambridgeshire. \nThis year we will be running as a two day event\, starting on Saturday afternoon and finishing Sunday afternoon. We will again be running The East Anglian Classic Run\, a clubmans event for pre-1991 cars\, for competitors holding the free RS Clubman licence. Navigation for the Run will be by marked map\, and the route and tests will be exactly the same as the Rally\, so this will provide a ‘bridge’ between classic runs and the HRCR championship for those wishing to progress in their classic motorsport. We are also running the East Anglian Classic Challenge\, a clubmans event similar to the Run but consisting of the Saturday leg only. \nAgain we will be supporting the East Anglian Air Ambulance\, which provides airborne response across the region funded entirely by charitable donation. £15 per entry (£5 for the challenge) will be donated by the club\, and competitors are offered the opportunity to make a further donation using the entry form

DESCRIPTION:Tour of Cheshire Knutsford and District MC \nOffering the simpler Clubman’s navigation option\, incorporated in the Beginners Championship. \nWe will be following a similar format to previous years Interclub for both events on the basis that \n‘if it ain’t broke don’t fix it’. Both events will run on the same route covering approximately 150 \nmiles mostly through the lanes of scenic Cheshire but with excursions into neighbouring \nStaffordshire. The route will be broken up with our planned 10 special tests all on non-car \ndamaging surfaces (including Oulton Park Rally Stage) and of course time for coffee\, lunch and \ntea halts. \nOur start / finish venue will be\, as for 2025\, the Crewe Vagrants Sports Club\, Nantwich – only a \nfew miles away from junction 16 of the M6. Friday night scrutineering\, signing on and document \ncollection at Reaseheath College\, Nantwich is anticipated but not yet confirmed.

DESCRIPTION:Photo by M&H Photography \nOffering the simpler Clubman’s navigation option\, incorporated in the Beginners Championship. \nThe Matlock MC  2026 edition of the Dansport Historic aims to build on the previous events – though ensuring it continues to evolve as we strive to make it the best event we can for everyone involved and of course out chosen charity the Air Ambulance. \nWe’ve successfully changed the date from October into February in order to benefit from additional test mileage at a much-loved Derbyshire venue (sorry if you missed us in 2025) \nWe’ve also kept the evening run that so many of you have enjoyed\, with the aim of delivering competitive fun on the quieter roads for a couple of hours and leaving time for a social over the now traditional pie and peas finish. \nSunday promises a route over some classic Derbyshire and Staffordshire lanes\, though we’ve tried to leave out some of the rougher whites/tests based on your feedback from previous years.  We’ll stop for Coffee and a light lunch so make sure you save room for Carvery (With pudding of course!) at the Peak Edge hotel to finish in daylight and get you headed for home at a reasonable hour. \nNew for this year\, we’re supporting the beginners championship and will provide A4 printed maps of the route for beginners to copy onto their own map 119 – You’ll also receive all the same information as the Interclub so you can piece it all together at the kitchen table after the event! \nWe’re looking to deliver the Dansport Historic you all know and love\, whilst ensuring it goes from strength to strength.

DESCRIPTION:The date for your diary then is:\nScrutineering to be on the Friday afternoon/evening on 21st of November.\nEvent start: Saturday morning on 22nd November.\nWe have managed to gather together all the 2024 reprobates that managed to give you a good time on the Friday and Saturday!!\n(JBMR hats & Torches will be available…)\n\n\nWe will once again utilise the amazing venue that is Classic Motor Cars (CMC) Stanmore\, Bridgnorth for the above purpose.\n\n\nWe can also confirm that you will enjoy a small portion of previously used test venues\, but in addition\, whilst travelling through areas unused on the JB previously\, brand new tests are also promised.\n\n\nMileage will indeed be reduced from the marathon of ’24 and I can’t at this moment confirm the finish venue location\, although\, once crews arrive at the final control/feeding station\, we will not be sending you back out into the darkness again!!

DESCRIPTION:2025 Cotswold Historic Rally organised by Tavern Motor Club on Sunday 6th July 2025. \n  \nThe event will follow a similar format to previous years\, with slight changes to keep things interesting. \nThere will be 9 Tests at 3 venues\, on a variety of surfaces (tarmac\, concrete and grass) together with 6 Regularities covering around 80 miles in a total route of 150 miles. \nThis year we will not be using any byways\, but some of the country lanes are bumpier than others\, with the regularity speeds reflecting the road conditions.  \nThe event is a round of the 2025 HRCR Clubmans Road Rally Championship. \nThere is also a Clubman event aimed at the more inexperienced competitor\, with a complete Roadbook covering the Test\, Regularity and Road Sections\, so no plotting is required. \n  \nThe Entry Fee is £195 (plus an optional donation to the two local Air Ambulance Charities that we are supporting) and will include the usual morning coffee and cake\, lunch and evening meal. \n The event will be based at Cirencester Rugby Football Club\, The Whiteway\, Cirencester\, GL7 2ER. \nThe first car will start at 8:30am with a mix of Regularities and Tests before lunch near Badminton\, followed by more Regularities and Tests before returning to the Rugby Club for an evening meal around 4:30pm (for the first car).

DESCRIPTION:Regulations will be published and entries opened for the East Anglian Classic over the Easter weekend of 19th -21st April 2025. \nThis year the EAC will run in a new format as a two-day event\, starting late Saturday afternoon for a first leg consisting of three road regularities\, an off-road regularity and a couple of tests before returning to the Dragonfly Hotel in Bury St Edmunds for a well-earned supper and social evening. \nRe-starting after breakfast on Sunday morning we will have another five regularities and six tests at venues that proved popular last year\, finishing early afternoon back at the Dragonfly for a buffet awards lunch. \nThis format means that competitors travelling from far afield can leave home on Saturday morning and be back by Sunday evening\, keeping the whole event within the weekend and avoiding Friday traffic. \nWe will also be organising the East Anglian Classic Run\, as in previous years\, using the same route and tests but providing marked maps and requiring only the RS Clubmans licence. An innovation for this year is the East Anglian Classic Challenge\, consisting of the Saturday leg of the Run only. \nNavigation for the main event will be largely pre-plot using straightforward methods\, but there will as usual be an element of plot’n’bash. \nAll this for an entry fee of £225 including a £15 donation to he East Anglian Air Ambulance. DESCRIPTION:Old Forge Garage Gremlin Historic Rally \nPlanning for this year’s Old Forge Garage Gremlin Rally is well underway and will use some new territory along with lots of traffic free miles over the Epynt ranges. The rally will start on Saturday evening from Talgarth with 2 regularities in the hours of daylight just to get the grey matter ticking and supper at the Llangorse Activity Centre. \nSunday will start from Three Cocks with a regularity with a few bits thrown in to keep crews on their toes\, nothing sneaky but a good wake up call followed by the first of 11 special tests. We have a great little coffee halt with homemade cake lined up and the food theme continues later with a packed lunch and the now traditional excellent carvery garden centre finish venue. \nA Clubman’s event will be on offer again and offers less experienced crews a relatively easy way to discover the delights of historic road rallying without thee stress of plotting the route on maps as a tulip roadbook will be supplied. Entries open at 8pm on Sunday March 23rd and we look forward to seeing you in Talgarth on May 10th.

SUMMARY:Tour of Cheshire 2025 Classic Rally
DESCRIPTION:Knutsford & District Motor Club’s Tour of Cheshire 2025 on Saturday 1 March 2025 will run two events in parallel for the first time in nearly 20 years. \nEntries for both live from 12 noon on Friday 3 January. \nIn addition to their usual Inter-Club status event\, running alongside will be a NEW ‘no plot’ Clubmans event\, which will have straight forward navigation instructions that will not require any plotting on the map. This is ideal for those starting a journey into daytime competitive regularity rallying\, or anyone wishing to reduce the pressure on navigators. \nThe 160ish mile route will mostly be within Cheshire with brief excursions into neighbouring Shropshire and Staffordshire and a schedule allowing time to enjoy the rest halts for coffee\, lunch and tea. \nFor the Inter-Club entrants\, the event uses maps 117\,118\, 126 & 127 – although with modest use of 126 & 127 map extracts will be provided to save the necessity of buying those maps. The Inter-Club event navigation instructions will all be straight forward\, no ‘plot and bash’ and the 11 special tests\, (for both events) all on good surfaces\, and includes visits to the Oulton Park Rally Stage. \nThere will be the customary Cheshire Cheese for all the finishers after they have concluded a good day’s motorsport followed with the usual post event supper and awards presentation. SUMMARY:Ilkley Jubilee Historic Rally 2024
DESCRIPTION:  \n \nThis years Ilkley Jubilee will once again be centered on the Ranges at Catterick\, subject to the relevant permissions. \nThe Start location will be Leyburn Cattle Market\, Finish at the Golf Club at Catterick Garrison. \nScrutineering will be from late Saturday afternoon at a venue close to the A1M. \nMaps used will 99\, 92\, 93\, and a small portion of 98. \nThose travelling from afar may want to start looking for accommodation early as we are aware of a major sporting event taking place a little further south in the Masham\, Pateley Bridge area. \nWe will be running an Interclub Historic Road Rally and an RS Clubmans Targa Rally. Note the Targa is open to all cars which comply with Road Rally rules including Historic Cars. We intend to provide simplified navigation for the Targa Rally. This will be Marked Maps\, Tulip and Jogularity Instructions. \nBoth events will have at least 8 regularities\, four will include off road sections on or around the Ranges. There will be at least 11 Special Test. \nThe Interclub event will be part of the Motorsport News HRCR Clubmans Road Rally Championship and the ANWCC Historic Rally Championship. \nRegulations will be published and entries will be open in early July. \n  \n
