HRCR Challenge and Mini Cup Coordinator 2010
Brian Thomas, a name familiar to many of you has come out of 'retirement' to take on the role of Co-ordinator for the HRCR Historic Challenge and Mini Cup for 2010.
Brian who was looking forward to a quieter life says "Who can not succumb to the charms of Paul Loveridge, when obviously having got to the bottom of the barrel of who to ask to do the job, made the now famous phone call which opens with - How are you Brian? Call me sceptic but I think 'what's coming next? Having painted a glossy picture and getting me to finally say yes he then hits me with all the things to do before the start of the new season."
Right an update on where we are now, draft regs done and permit application with MSA, last minute tweeks to the arrangements with the various event organisers - the final list should be on the site by Christmas Day. Regs and application forms will be downloadable from 1st Jan 2010. The Official launch will be at the Open Day at Gaydon on 16th Jan, where we will be to take your registrations. Alternatively they can be posted, full contact details will be in the regs and on the forms.
The first round is definitely the Red Kite Stages on Sun 24th January. The regs are on the website, www.redkitestages.co.uk If you intend doing it, don't wait until you register for the Challenge/Mini Cup, just put TBA in the box and we'll sort numbers out with the organisers. The organisers have asked that you put your entry in ASAP, cheques will not be banked until 11th Jan 2010.
