Danum and PK Memorial regulations
Keith Jenkins/Tony BrooksRegulations are available for Lindholme Motor Club's Danum Rally on 17/18 May, running in Lincolnshire and South Yorkshire with both modern and historic permits. Although the event has a reputation for challenging plot and bash navigation we have been assured that this year's event has been toned down. It's a round of a number of regional championships inlcuding the Tyneside MSG series so a number of historics are likely.
An exciting development is that Bala & DMC's PK Memorial Rally will also be applying for an historic permit. This is a 'full-on' mid-Wales pre-plot event which is part of the WAMC & ANWCC Championships for modern cars. The event runs on 28/29 June and starts with an evening section on private land when a brief supper halt will precede a half-night lanes event. The coordinator has competed on this event on several occasions and can strongly recommend it. Thanks to Keith Jenkins for negotiating the historic permit; he is optimistic of getting a foot in the door of a number of mid and North Wales events.
