Bulletin 22/09/2011 - Historic Rally Isle of Man Cancelled
Following the announcement by the event organisers, Rally Isle of Man Limited, that the 2011 Historic Rally Isle of Man was to be cancelled, the Organising Committee of the Dunlop / WONAGO - MSA British Historic Rally Championship has decided that the event will not be replaced in the 2011 schedule and that this year's Championship will be declared over seven events. To source, and then try to include a replacement round was felt to be impossible at this late stage of the season.
The Historic Rally Isle of Man, scheduled for 28/29 October was to have been the final round of the Championship but the final round will now be the Colin McRae Historic Stages on Saturday 1st October.
In accordance withthe Championship Regulations, Article 9.2, scores will now be counted from competitors' best five scores from the seven rounds.
