Easylarity Rallies

Easylarity is the new name for events that used to be the HRCR 100 Rallies.  We think that Easylarity, meaning Easy Regularity, better describes the type of events that were intended when the 100 Series was concieved.

We will be coming up with some definite rules to which Easylarity events must comply, covering permitted methods of navigation, regularity section format and restricting those dreaded average speed changes.  All intended to promote regularity rallies that are easy for beginners, but not forgetting those more experienced competitors who prefer to enter a less stressful event than most championship rallies tend to be.

Newcomers Rally Schools

The HRCR's popular Newcomers Rally Schools concentrate on the basics of rallying, particularly ensuring that beginners receive sufficient instruction to obtain maximum enjoyment from competing in the HRCR 100 Rallies as a stepping stone to Clubmans Rally Championship or Night Rally Championship events.

Each one-day course starts with lectures on the varied aspects of historic rallying, such as the format of events, car preparation, maps and navigation.  Then the afternoon session includes plotting and driving a 15-mile road route where you can put into practice what you have just learned.

Date and place details of forthcoming Newcomers Rally Schools will be announced in the HRCR Newsletter and the Club News and Forthcoming Events sections of this website.
